Born Hull, 1869. Son of William Lazenby and Hannah Pullen (1840-1894). He had five sisters and three brothers. He was a Hull seaman.
Married at St James Church, Hull, on 12 Jan 1892. Husband of Mary Ann Palmer Lazenby, of 3, Nepean Grove, Tyne Street, Hessle Road, Hull (War Pension address).
Served as a Deck Hand in the Royal Naval Reserve. Awarded the Silver War Badge (No: 1241), on 23/10/1916. Died at Hull, in 1921.
