HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED IN THE ROYAL HORSE TERRITORIALS AND AS SERGEANT IN THE ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY, 251 ST BRIGADE. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 27/05/1918, AGED 34. COMMEMORATED ON THE SOISSONS MEMORIAL.
