HE MARRIED, EMMA PASHLEY, FROM 12 HERBET’S TERRACE, BALFOUR STREET, ON 26/10/1915. WAS WOUNDED AND CAPTURED AT SERRE, ON 18/11/1916. HE DIED OF SHRAPNEL WOUNDS AS A PRISONER OF WAR, AT STETTIN, GERMANY, ON 02/12/1916, AGED 22. HE HAD SERVED IN THE ARMY FOR 2 YEARS AND 8 DAYS.

THIS IS HIS ADDRESS FROM ARMY RECORDS. HE LEFT AN OLDER BROTHER JOHN AND SISTER, BUT HE DID NOT KNOW THEIR ADDRESS. HE IS BURIED IN BERLIN. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WENT TO HIS WIDOW, EMMA.
