Born Gt Grimsby, Lincolnshire, 1900. Son of Susannah Charlotte and Charles Baxter, of 10, Lily’s Terrace Finsbury Street, Hull and 19, Grange Street, Fountain Road, Hull (War Pension address).
He enlisted in Hull. Served with the 8th Lincolnshire Regiment. Died of wounds, on 28/04/1918, aged 18. Buried at the Somme, France.
His army effects were divided between his younger brother, William and three sisters.
