Bellingham, William Henry

Born Wolverhampton, 1879. Married at Hull in 1916. Husband of Annie Elizabeth Jackson, of 13, Clarendon Terrace Clarendon Street, Hull (1911 census) and 10, Victoria Terrace, Kimberly Street, Hull (War Pension address). They had three children.

Joined the army, on 23/03/1898 and remained in the Reserves until 23/03/1914. In civilian life he worked as a labourer. Re-enlisted on 31/08/1914. Served in the East Yorkshire Regiment, Northumberland Fusiliers, and Royal Defence Corps. Discharged with wounds, on 18/09/1918. Awarded the Silver Wound Badge (No: B7621) and British War Medal and Victory Medal. Died in Hull May- June, 1930.
