Married, on 19 Nov • 1909. Husband of Elizabeth Jane Langley (8/3/1884-1956), of 74, Spring Street, Hull, 46, Blenheim Street, Hull and 274, Beverley Road, Hull (war Pension addresses). They had two sons, Gordon and Russell. Awarded a weekly war pension of 29/2, on 11/7/1918.
Served as Chief Engineer, Royal Naval Reserve, H.M. Whaler “Blackwhale”. Drowned when ship was sunk, on 03/01/1918, aged 36. He is commemorated on the Chatham Naval memorial, Kent.
