A GENERAL LABOURER. HE WAS EMPLOYED BY THE BRITSIH OIL AND CAKE COMPANY, STONEFERRY, HULL.

HIS WIFE BEATRICE BIGGINS, LIVED AT 18, LILIAN TERRACE, BARNSLEY STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS).

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE 1/4TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 14/07/1916, AGED 26. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE YPRES MENIN GATE MEMORIAL, BELGIUM.

His name is listed on the Bridlington Street Roll of Honour, (Hull Daily Mail 29 December 1916).
HIS NAME WAS ALSO RECORDED ON HULL’S, BLAYDE STREET ROLL OF HONOUR & AT ST MARY’S CHURCH, SCULCOATES, LANE, HULL.

HE LEFT A WIDOW, A BROTHER, PRIVATE, GEORGE BIGGINS, 210200, ARMY SERVICE CORPS, AND SISTER, ANNIE.

HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 30/08/1916. *
