ENLISTED HULL. SERVED AS A GUNNER, 13883, ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY. DIED IN MESOPOTANIA, ON 01/06/1917, AGED 20. BURIED BASRA WAR CEMETERY, IRAQ. HIS WAR PENSION WENT TO HIS WIDOW ‘FANNY’ CROSS.
HIS NAME IS LISTED ON THE ST JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH WW1 MEMORIAL, CLOUGH ROAD, HULL.
