BORN HULL 1891. SON OF ADA FRANCES JACKSON & THE LATE WILLIAM HENRY BRINHAM OF 13 ASHBOURNE GROVE, SPRING BANK WEST, HULL (CWGC ADDRESS). ONE OF SIX CHILDREN. HE WORKED WOTHHIS BROTHERS AT HULLS IDEAL STANDARD RADIATOR COMPANY. HE ENLISTED IN HULL. KILLED IN ACTION ON 01/08/1916, AGED 24. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE RETURNED TO HIS MOTHER.

HIS NAME IS ONE OF 46 EMPLOYEES LISTED ON HULL’S “IDEAL BOILERS AND RADIATOR WW1 ROLL OF HONOUR”, NATIONAL AVENUE, HULL. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 09/09/1916 WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH.*

HE IS BURIED AT ALBERT COMMUNAL CEMETERY, ON THE SOMME.
HIS BROTHER, PRIVATE, CHARLES HENRY BRINHAM, 2ND WEST RIDING REGIMENT,  WAS KILLED ON 10/10/1917, AGED 21.
