DIED OF WOUNDS ON 23/08/1915, AGED 27. HIS NAME IS LISTED ON THE ANLABY WW1 MEMORIAL, ST PETER’S CHURCHYARD, WILSON STREET, ANLABY. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL TIMES, ON 04/09/1915, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *
