Buck, Arthur Edward

Lance Corporal Arthur Edward Buck (1892-1916) of Beverley.
Arthur Edward Buck was born in 1892. He was son of William and Mary Buck. He was one of three brothers who took part in the conflict.
Prior to WW1 Arthur was a printer employed by the Beverley Guardian newspaper, he enlisted in the Yorkshire Regiment and was promoted to Lance Corporal in 1915. Arthur was killed on 15 September 1916, aged 24 years. He is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
