His unofficial wife Edith Asklam, lived at 19, Newport Terrace, Campbell Street, Hull (War Pension address). They had one daughter, Florence, Asklam, born on 10/04/1911.
Served as Royal Naval Reserve, Deckhand, on HM Trawler “Mitres”. Died of Heart Failure due to alcoholism, on 09/01/1919, aged 35. Burie at Murmansk, Russia.
