Chapman, William Henry

Born Birmingham 1884. Resided in Hull (Soldiers Died Records). Enlisted in Beverley. Son of William Henry and Phoebe Chapman; husband of Lilian Chapman, of Carnaby, Yorks. A former police Constable. Enlisted in the army in 1902. Served 12 years, including  in India and was a member of the Army Reserve. His pension address was Trinity House Lane, Hornsea. He left a son, Richard Henry Chapman, born on 24/11/1915. His widow was not eligible for a grant.
