HALTEMPRICE STREET, HULL. SERVED AS A ROYAL NAVY, ENGINE ROOM ARTIFICER, 4TH CLASS. LOST AT SEA, ON HMS ‘INVINCIBLE’ AT THE BATTLE OF JUTLAND, 31/05/1916. AGED 29. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE PORTSMOUTH NAVAL MEMORIAL.
HIS BROTHER, ABLE SEAMAN, ORLANDO CHRISTTMASS, ROYAL NAVY DIVISION, DIED IN BELGIUM, ON 31/101/1917, AGED 21.

THEIR DEATHS WERE REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 21/11/1917. A BROTHER IN LAW WAS ALSO LOST AT SEA, EARLEIR ON IN 1917.
