Clark, Charles Kenneth

BORN HULL 1898. SON OF CHARLES AND MARTHA KIPLING CLARK, OF 18, DAY STREET, HULL AND 13, KINGS BENCH STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). ONE OF FIVE CHILDREN. HIS FATHER WAS A HORSE SHUNTER. HE WORKED FOR THE HULL POST OFFICE, LIVING AT 4, KINGS BENCH STREET, HULL.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL TO JOIN THE 8TH LONDON REGIMENT (POST OFFICE RIFLES). HE WAS KILLED IN ACTON BETWEEN THE 8TH -10TH AUGUST 1918, AGED 20. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER, CHARLES. HE IS BURIED AT THE SOMME.

HIS DEATH AND ADDRESS WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 03/10/1918 AND 08/08/1919
