A GENERAL LABOURER (1901 CENSUS0 AND FISH SALESMAN, LIVING AT 11 FLORENCE AVENUE, WALCOTT STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS). HE ENLISTED IN HULL. FORMER, GUNNER 196429, ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY. TRANSFERRED AS 27743, TO THE LABOUR CORPS. HE DIED AT CHISLEDON MILITARY HOSPITAL, ON 17/08/1918, AGED 39. BURIED IN HULL NORTHERN CEMETERY. THIS WAS HIS PROBATE ADDRESS. LEFT £182 TO HIS ONLY BROTHER JASPER CHANCELLOR COLLIER (1860-1926), A MASTER MARINER, AT 115 PARK AVENUE, HULL.
