BORN BRADFORD 1889. SON OF HARRY & ANNIE COOK, AT 24 KENNINGTON STREET, BRADFORD. EMPLOYED BY RECKITT’S AS A LITHOGRAPHER, (1911 CENSUS ADDRESS). HE ALSO LIVED WITH MR AND MRS PICKARD, AT 5, PICTURESQUE TERRACE, WATERLOO STREET, HULL.

HE ENLISTED AS PRIVATE, 4814, IN THE 3/4TH EYR TERRITORIALS IN 1910. HE ENLISTED AGAIN IN HULL, ON 01/11/1915. ARRIVED IN FRANCE AND POSTED TO THE 1ST EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT, ON 20/09/1916. ACCIDENTALLY KILLED, ON 22/02/1917, AGED 28.

HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 10/04/1917, WITH HIS PHOTGRAPH.

HE IS BURIED AT LOOS MILITARY CEMETERY. UNMARRIED. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER, HARRY.
HE WAS BROTHER TO, HAROLD, WILLIAM, EDWARD,EMILY AND ANNIE.
