Cox, Harry

Born Sancton, Yorkshire, 1st March 1895. Son of Mr. Amos and Mrs. Ellen. Cox, of Newport, Gilberdyke, Yorkshire. He had two brothers and four sisters. Worked as a Confectionary Assistant.

Enlisted in Hull, on 1st Novemeber 1916.  Posted to France, on 27th July 1917. Served with the 9th Cameronians (Scottish Rifles). Killed in action, at Courtrai, on 25/10/1918, aged 22.

Commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
