Born 1894. Son of Richard Henry Denman (1872-1950) and Sarah Cunningham (1872-1939). Employed by Messrs, Fins and sons, Sawmill, Drypool.
He enlisted in Hull. Served in the 7th East Yorkshire Regiment. Killed in action on 12/11/1915, aged 21. He is commemorated on the Ypres Menin Gate Memorial.
His death was reported in the Hull Daily Mail, on 10/12/1915. *
His army effects were left to his mother Sarah and father, Richard Henry, who moved to Dearne Grove Barnsley (Pension Adrress).
