Born Newton Abbot, Devon, 9th May 1891. Son of Mrs Driver, at 17, Bournemouth Street, Sculcoates Lane, Hull (War Pension address).
A Professional Soldier. Enlisted on 14 Jan 1910. Served in the 1st & 2nd East Yorkshire Regiment and also Labour Corps. Awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal and Military Medal. Discharged on 19 Jun 1919. Awarded the Silver War Badge (NO; B290383). Died at Hull, in 1928, aged 36.
