Dunn, Joseph

Born Hull, 1886. Son of Sarah Ellen Dunn and the late William Thomas Dunn (1856-1892), of 1, Marlborough Terrace, South Boulevard, Hull (war Pension Address). He had two brothers and two sisters. A Printer Compositor and employee of Bromby & Clarkes Printers, of Hull, where he worked for eight years and was well respected. He resided at 22, Vauxhall Grove, Hessle Road, Hull (1911 Census) and 1, Marlborough Terrace, South Boulevard, Hull.

He enlisted in Hull. Formerly, Private, 21962, East Yorkshire Regiment. Transferred to the 1st Tyneside Scottish. Wounded 04/01/1917. Died of wounds, on 14/01/1917, aged 31. His death was reported in the Hull Daily Mail, on 12/01/1917 and 19/01/1917.
