BORN HULL 1877. HE LIVED WITH HIS WIFE ELIZABETH AND THREE CHILDREN ABOVE. A FISHERMAN HE JOINED THE AUXILLARY FLEET SOON AFTER THE OUTBREAK OF WAR. HE WAS MATE OF THE ‘ONWARD’, WHICH WAS BLOWN UP BY A SUBMARINE. HE LEFT A WIDOW AND THREE CHILDREN AT

11 PRINCES AVENUE, WEST DOCK AVENUE, HULL HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 19TH JULY 1916 WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. * THERE IS NO CWGC RECORD OF HIS DEATH.
