BORN ELSTERNWICK, HULL 1897. SON OF HENRY SAMPSON FENN & CHARLOTTE (JARVIS) FROM ELSTERNWICK COTTAGE, PRESTON. HE LIVED 1AT 6 FERRY AVENUE, STONEFERRY ROAD & 18 SPRINGFIELD VILLAS, STONEFERRY ROAD, HULL. ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE 7TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 09/06/1918, AGED 21. BURIED AT ACHEUX BRITISH CEMETERY, SOMME, FRANCE. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS FATHER HENRY.
HIS BROTHER, L/CPL, GEORGE FENN, 3RD EYR, DIED OF WOUNDS IN HULL, ON 20/01/1919. HIS UNCLE, ARTHUR JARVIS, (HIS MOTHERS BROTHER) WAS ALSO KILLED IN THE WAR.
