Born Hull 1881. his name was Alfred, but recorded as Arthur in the CWGC records. Son of Thomas Fenton (1846-1911) and Mary Ann Burnham (1849-1916), of 135 Hodgson Street, Hull. He had five brothers and five sisters.
Served as Driver, in the Royal Army Service Corps. Died on 25/08/1915 aged 35. Buried at St Mary’s, Lockington, Beverley, in a CWGC grave.
