BORN DRIFFIELD 1892. SON OF JOHN FLEETHAM (1857-1924) AND ALICE HUNTER (1857- ), OF  3, COLENSO AVENUE, EDINBURGH STREET, HULL. SON OF A HOUSE CARPENTER. HE HAD THREE BROTHERS AND THREE SISTERS. HE WORKED AS A NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY PORTER.

ENLISTED HARROGATE. SERVED AS PRIVATE, 32/459, 13TH NORTHUMBERLAND FUSILIERS. KILLED ON 16/06/1917, AGED 25. COMMEMORATED ON THE ARRAS MEMORIAL, FRANCE.
