Sigglesthorne WW1 Memorial

Born Garton, Yorkshire, 1895. Son of George Henry Ford (1865-1929) and Alice Ness (1872-1953). he had two brothers and two sisters. He worked as a Labourer, on Great Hatfield farm, Goxhill (1911 Census). He enlisted in Hull. Served as a Driver, in the Royal Field Artillery. Died of wounds, on 27/09/1918, aged 22. He is buried Trelon, Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France

He is commemorated on the Sigglesthorne ww1 Roll of Honour which contains the names of 75 men who served and eleven who died in WW1.
