BORN HULL 01/11/1891. SON OF WILLIAM MOYES FORSTER (1837-1900) & ANN ELIZA WATSON (1848-1929) OF 24 SEWR LANE, HULL (1911 CENSUS) AND 192 , SOMERSET STREET, HULL. ONE OF FOURTEEN CHILDREN. HE HAD EIGHT BROTHERS AND SIX SISTERS. EMPLOYED AS A HOUSE PAINTER.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED, AS A DRIVER AND GUNNER IN THE ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY AND OFFICER ORDERLY. KILLED DURING HEAVY GERMAN HOWITZER SHELLING, ON 06/06/1917, AGED 25. HE LEFT A WIDOWED MOTHER, ANN ELIZA AT 192 SOMERSET STREET, HULL. HIS WAR PENSION WAS LEFT TO HIS MOTHER AND MISS MINNIE STOREY, OF 34, LOTHROP STREET, QUEENS ROAD, PADDINGTON, LONDON.

HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 02/07/1917. *
