BORN HULL 1897. FOURTH SON FREDERICK & SARAH FOX, OF 9, ZETLAND STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS), & LATER 23, BRIGHTON STREET,HULL.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE 7TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. DIED OF WOUNDS IN THE MILITARY HOSPITAL AT BATH. BEFORE THE WAR HE WORKED FOR ATKINS & CO, GIPSYVILLE, HULL. HE DIED THREE DAYS BEFORE THE WAR ENDED.

BURIED IN HULL WESTERN CEMETERY. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH ON 19TH NOVEMBER 1918. *

HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE ALDBROUGH WW1 MEMORIAL, EAST YORKSHIRE.
