BORN NORTH DALTON, YORKS 1889. SON OF THOMAS BIELBY FRANKISH (1854-1939) ANNIE ELIZABETH CHAMBERS (1857-1936), OF NORTH DALTON, DRIFFIELD, MIDDLETON ON THE WOLDS, YORKSHIRE, AND HULLBRIDGE ROAD, SANDHOLME, BEVERLEY (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). HE HAD THREE BROTHERS AND ONE SISTER.

HE RESIDED IN BEEFORD, EAST YORKSHIRE. WORKED AS A SHEPHERD.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED AS CORPORAL, IN THE 251ST ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY, “A” BATTERY. POSTED TO FRANCE, ON 26/11/1915. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 16/03/1917, AGED 28. BURIED AT ASSEVILLERS NEW BRITISH CEMETERY, FRANCE.

HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER, ANNIE.
