Chief Officer, a Franks. His death was reported in the Hull daily Mail, on 11/09/1917. Lost at sea returning to England, on HMS transports. he belonged to an old seafaring family in Hull. He was connected with the South American trades and voyages. He resided at 219 Marlborough Avenue, Hull. He left a widow and son who was serving with the forces in India, and two daughters – one Mrs Bernard Dales, the other unmarried.
