Lt., Geoffrey Fyson, 1st Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment)

Born Hull, Yorkshire, 1885. Son of the Right Reverend, Philip Kemball Fyson (1846-1928), D.D. (formerly Bishop of Hokkaido, Japan), and Eleanor Fyson (1850-1935), of Elmley Lovett Rectory, Droitwich, Worcs. He had four brothers and four sisters. In 1913, he was a school master at St Michaels University, Victoria, British Coumbia. He enlisted when war began. Served as a Lieutenant, in the 1st Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment. Was killed in action, in Macedonia, on 04/09/1918, aged 33.
Commemorated at DOIRAN MEMORIAL, Greece. He left £651 in his will to heir mother Eleanor. He had previously inherited money from his brother, Pte, Oliver Fyson, CEF 16th Scottish Battalion, who was killed at Ypres on 22/04/1915. Geoffrey Fyson left £651 in his will to his mother, Eleanor
