BORN GOOLE 1886. SON OF EDWARD AND MARY ANN GARNER. HE DIED OF WOUNDS RECEIVED IN ACTION ON 27TH NOVEMBER 1917. HE LEFT A WIDOW EMILY ELIZA BLACK (1886-1972) & THREE CHILDREN AT 3 BELLE VUE TERRACE, WALCOTT STREET, HULL. HE ENLISTED IN 1915 AND PRIOR TO THAT WORKED AS A BRICKLAYER. HE HAD THREE BROTHERS SERVING AND HIS WIFE HAD FOUR BROTHERS SERVING. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON THE 8TH DECEMBER 1917, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *
