Grindell, Tom

Born Hull, 1889. Son of Thomas Edward Grindell (1859-1921) and Clarinda (1861-1891) of 17, Thomas Terrace, Barnsley Street, Hull (War Pension address). He resided and enlisted in Selby, Yorkshire. He lost his mother when he was only 2 years old. He had one sister.

He served with the 10th Prince of Wales’s Own (West Yorkshire) Regiment. Killed in action, on 13/10/1918, aged 28. His army effects were left to his cousi, Ada Ada Hendsley, at 1, Judge Yard, Selby.
