HE ENLISTED IN THE ROYAL NAVY, ON 25/10/1918. DECRIBED AS 5 FOOT, 5.5 INCHES TALL, 33 INCH CHEST, GREY EYES, DARK BROWN HAIR, TATTOO ON LEFT FOREARM.

ACCIDENTALLY DROWNED, AGED 19. HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE PLYMOUTH NAVAL MEMORIAL.

HIS BROTHER, PRIVATE, FREDERICK OLIVER GUY, 306999, 2/8TH NOTTS & DERBY, DIED OF WOUNDS, ON 28/04/1917, AGED 19.
