Haigh, Frank

Born Hull. Son of Joseph Haigh, of Rochdale husband of Annie Lydia Haigh, of 10, Albion St., Driffield, Yorks. Well known in fighting circles in Hull & Grimsby. Employed by the Great Northern Steam Company, Hull. He served in the Royal Naval Reserve and drowned on the minesweeper, H.M. Trawler “Holdene”, o2/02/1917, aged 36.

Left a widow and child. His wife was the daughter of the Withernsea Station Master. His dath was reported in the Hull Daily Mail, on 14/02/1914
