Hall, George

Born Bridlington 12/05/1885 ; Son of Francis Monkman Hall and Sarah Ann Robinson, of Carnaby, Bridlington. He married on 14/12/1912, at the Roman Catholic church, South Gosforth. His wife, Grace Livingston(1889-1926), lived at 51 Exeter St., Cottingham, East Yorks. This was  his Next-of-Kin & home address: He was a clerk on the North Eastern Railways for 15 years before he joined the Royal Naval Division. These were surplus sailors formed into army battalions.

He joined the Army Reserve, on 23/11/1915 ; Entered, 22/06/1917 ; Drafted for BEF 13/10/1917, joined the RND, Howe Battalion, on. 14/11/1917-11/1/18. Killed in action, on 11/01/1918, aged 33.

Buried Fifteen Ravine, British Cemetery, near Cambrai. He left a widow, Grace and one daughter, Kathleen, born 14/06/1914.
