BORN HULL 1900. ELDEST SON OF JABEZ & AMANDA HARRISON, AT THIS CWGC ADDRESS. KNOWN AS ‘BOB’ HARRISON. ONE OF TEN CHILDREN. HIS FATHER WAS A LIGHTERMAN ON THE RIVER HULL. HE ENLISTED ON 20/02/1918 AND WENT TO FRANCE ON 13/08/1918. POSTED TO THE 15TH DURHAM LIGHT INFANTRY. HE DIED OF WOUNDS, AGED 17. HE LEFT SISTERS ADA, ANN & GERTRUDE & BROTHERS ALBERT & ARTHUR IN IRELAND. BEFORE THE WAR HE WAS A PRESSMAN AT ROBSON’S OIL AND CAKE MILLS, WILMINGTON. HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 18TH NOVEMBER 1918, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *

HE IS BURIED AT NEUVILLY COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, NORD, FRANCE. HIS GRAVE INSCRIPTION, READS, “WE SHALL MEET HIM OVER THERE FROM DAD & MAM”
