HE ENLSITED IN HULL. SERVING WITH THE EAST RIDING YEOMANRY. TRANSFERRED AS A RIFLEMAN AND THEN LANCE CORPORAL, IN THE 2ND KING’S ROYAL RIFLE CORPS. HE WAS KILLED IN ACTION, ON 05/07/1917, AGED 30. BURIED BELGIUM.

HE LEFT £140 IN HIS WILL TO EKIZABETH, HIS WIDOWED MOTHER.
