Resided in York. Enlisted in Hull. Posted to France, on 30th August 1915. Formerly, Private, M2/081208, Army Service Corps. Transferred to the 18th Welsh Regiment. Killed in action, on 13/04/1918.
His army effects were left to his widow, Elizabeth Agnes Holmes, who moved to Ontario, Canada.
