BORN HULL 1887. SON OF THOMAS HOSULEY & HARRIET SARAH YEATS (1852-1925)  HE HAD FOUR BROTHERS AND A SISTER.

A FORMER PACKER AND RECKITT’S WORKER. HE JOINED RECKITT’S ON 8TH NOVEMBER 1901. HE WAS ALSO MEMBER OF THE HULL GARDENER SOCIETY.

HE MARRIED ALICE EMILY SMITH (1892-1956), AT HULL, ON 11TH JULY 1915 AND HAD TWO CHILDREN, OLIVE AND CYRIL (WHO DIED AGED 1, IN 1916). THEY LIVED AT 33, VICTOR STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESSS).

HE ENLISTED IN HULL. SERVED WITH THE 1/4TH EAST YORKSHIRE REGIMENT. REPORTED MISSING SINCE 18TH APRIL 1918. HE WAS CONFIRMED AS KILLED IN ACTION, ON 10/04/1918, AGED 30. BURIED AT STEENWERCK CEMETERY, NORD, FRANCE.

HE IS RECORDED IN THE RECKITT’S WW1 MEMORIAL BOOK.

HIS WIFE APPEALED FOR MORE INFORMATION, IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 21/01/1919.
