BORN HULL 1880. SON OF THE LATE THOMAS HUDSON (1852-1892) AND ANNIE ELIZABETH HUDSON (1857-1928), OF 7, HODGSON SQUARE, LORNE STREET, HULL.

HE WAS A HULL DOCK LABOURER, RESIDEING AT 2, WALTER’S AVENUE, DANSOM LANE HULL (1911 CENSUS) AND A FORMER  ‘MESSRS. LEE SMITH’ MILLS WORKER, AT WINCOLMLEE.

HE ENLSITED HULL. SERVED WITH THE 2ND/5TH WEST RIDING REGIMENT. KILLED IN ACTION AT CAMBRAI, 21/11/1917, AGED 37. HIS PHOTOGRAPH WAS PRINTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 08/07/1019. *

HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL, ON 26/12/1917; HDM, 21/12/1917 AND HDM 12/01/1918.

HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT, TO HIS WIDOWED MOTHER.
