Born Bishop Burton, 1893. Second of four sons. Son of William and Martha Hudson, of Bishop Burton, Beverley, Yorkshire. Educated at Bishop Burton Church school.

Served as a Driver, in the Royal Field Artillery, “D” Bty. 95th Bde.

Taken ill on the 15/11/1918. He died of pneumonia, on 20/11/1918, at the 19th Casualty Clearing station. Buried at Caudry, France. He was aged 25.

His brother, Hebert Hudson was killed on 20/10/1918, serving with the 2nd Manchester regiment.
