BORN WALSHAM, SUFFOLK. 1893. SON OF SPENCER JOHN HUFFEE (1867-1929) & EDITH MARY NUNN JESSOP (1865-1937), OF 3, PEMBERTON STREET, HULL (WAR PENSION ADDRESS). SON OF A DOCK LABOURER. HE HAD TWO BROTHERS, CLAUDE AND MAURICE. HE WORKED FOR THE HULL CO-OPERATIVE AS A GROCER ASSISATNT.

HE ENLISTED IN HULL, SERVED AS GUNNER, 756174, 251ST ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY. KILLED IN ACTION, ON 14/11/1917, AGED 24. COMMEMORATED ON THE YPRES, MENIN GATE, MEMORIAL, BELGIUM. HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS MOTHER, EDITH MARY.

HIS BROTHER CLAUDE SERVED IN THE MACHINE GUN CORPS AND ALSO LIVED  AT THIS ADDRESS.
