ERNEST WAS BOARDING IN KIRK ELLA (1901 CENSUS) AND AT 7, HILDA GROVE, HADDON STREET, HULL (1911 CENSUS) WHERE HE IS RECORDED AS A GENERAL LABOURER LOOKING FOR WORK. HIS HULL DAILY MAIL ADDRESS WAS BEAN STREET, HULL.

HE SERVED WITH 2ND KOYLI IN THE BRITISH EXPEDITIONARY FORCE AND WAS KILLED IN ACTION, ON THE 30/10/1914, AGED 28.

HIS ARMY EFFECTS WERE LEFT TO HIS BROTHER, FREDERICK AND SISTER, FLORENCE TEDDINGTON.

HE WAS AWARDED THE BRITISH WAR & VICTORY MEDAL & LEFT HIS ARMY EFFECTS TO HIS SISTER FLORENCE & BROTHER GEORGE F. HUNT.
