BORN HULL 1885. SON OF CHARLES GEORGE JACKSON (1855-1916) & FRANCES JANE JACKSON (1857-1940), OF 62 BACHELOR STREET (1911) & 2 WILBERFORCE STREET, HULL.

HUSBAND OF ROSE ANN (CISSIE) WRIGGLESWORTH, WHO HE MARRIED IN 1915. THEY LIVED AT 142 , HESSLE ROAD, HULL (CWGC ADDRESS).

HE WAS THE ASSISTANT MASTER OF ST GEORGES ROAD, BOYS SCHOOL, HULL.

HE SERVED AS A RIFLEMAN IN THE 12TH RIFLE BRIGADE. WAS KILLED AT YPRES, ON 12/02/1916, AGED 31.

HE IS COMMEMORATED ON THE YPRES MENIN GATE MEMORIAL, BELGIUM.

HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH ON 7TH MARCH 1916. *

HE WAS REMEMBERED BY HIS WIFE CISSIE, BROTHERS AND SCHOOL FRIENDS IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 06/09/1916.
