Born Hull, 1898. Eldest Son of Alfred Edwin (1873-1942) and Henrietta Mary Timson (1876-1946), of 2 Ermiston Villas Rosmead Street, Hull (1911 Census) and 20 Goods Avenue, Buckingham Street, Hull (War Pension Address). He had two brothers and four sisters. Enlisted at Hull, on 17/05/1916. Served as a Lance Corporal in the Tank Corps. Discharged on 01/12/1919. Died of wounds, on 28/08/1922, aged 24.
