BORN HULL 1900. SON OF JOHN EDWARD & FLORENCE ADA JOHNSON. SPARE HAND ON THE TRAWLER ‘SABRINA’ LOST AT SEA ON 21/05/1915, AGED 15. HIS ELDER BROTHER JOHN WAS LOST ON THE SAME SHIP AGED 17 YEARS.
Sabrina (H 346) FV was a British registered fishing vessel of 179grt that was probably mined by the cruiser Hamburg when 160 miles ENE of Spurn Head Light Vessel.
