Born Sigglesthorne, Hull, 1898. Son of Thomas Londesborough (1866-1956) and Kate Bemrose (1870-1936), of Rose Cottage (1911 Census) & Oban House, Seaton, Hull (War Pension address). Son of a farm foreman. He had five brothers and two sisters.
He enlisted in Hull served with the 8th West Yorkshire Regiment. Was killed at Passchendaele, on 09/10/1917, aged 19. Commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial to the missing.
His brother, Private, 86487, Tom Londesborough, Northumberland Fusiliers, died on 06/02/1919, aged 22. They are both commemorated on the Sigglesthorne ww1 Memorial, where 75 men served and eleven died in WW1.
Their war parents went to their parents, Thomas and Kate.
