HE WAS MARRIED AND LIVED AT 11 HIGSON’S COURT, BLANKET ROW, HULL. BEFORE THE WAR HE WAS A CORPORATION DUSTMAN.
ENLISTED HULL. HE WAS DRIVER, IN THE ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY, ATTACHED TO THE TRENCH MORTAR BATTERY. HE WAS KILLED IN ACTION, ON 06/10/1917, AGED 21. HE LEFT A SORROWFUL MAOTHERS AND SISTERS, ANNIE AND LIZZIE.
HIS DEATH WAS REPORTED IN THE HULL DAILY MAIL ON 6TH NOVEMBER 1917, WITH HIS PHOTOGRAPH. *.
