Married on 28 Jan 1904 • Dundee, Angus, Scotland. Husband of Euphamenia Allan (1883-1973) at 255a, north Boulevard, Hull (War pension address). They had 5-6 children. A Former soldier and reservist.
Called up on 19th August 1914. Served in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd East Yorkshire Regiment. Posted to France, on 9th November 1914. Went insane and was discharged from the army on 8th August 1917. Awarded the Silver War Badge (No: 134331). Committed to an Asylum. He died at Hull on 03/02 1930, aged 52.
