Born 4 April 1878 • Dundee. Son of William Scott McGlashan (1838-1900) and Marion Bell Buckingham (1838-1900)

Married on 28 Jan 1904 • Dundee, Angus, Scotland. Husband of Euphamenia Allan (1883-1973) at 255a, North Boulevard, Hull (War pension address). They had 5-6 children.

he was a Former soldier and reservist, when war began.

Called up on 19th August 1914. Served in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd East Yorkshire Regiment. Posted to France, on 9th November 1914. Wounded with Shell Shock. Discharged as Insane, from the army on 8th August 1917, aged 30. Awarded the Silver War Badge (No: 134331).

Committed to the Hull City Asylum, Willerby, Hull. He died at Hull on 03/02 1930, aged 52.
